Sometimes, people ask. 'Can't you just write them in advance, before you go on holiday?' Once upon a time, that's what I did. But then I found I needed a longer holiday to recover from the effort! I figured I'd best get back in time for Friday the 13th, just in case anyone was worried. Besides which, as Steve has no doubt been explaining, these are intense times for many of us. A sharp 'square' from Saturn to Pluto is stirring up a lot of stress. Yet we can't really describe this, or today's date as 'unlucky'. The changes we're starting to see now are 'right for their time' - and if you proceed with trust this weekend, whatever happens in your world will yet be right for you! Saturday November 14 Your Week Ahead Confusingly, in modern English, we use the same phrase to describe the moment when you first see the tiny sliver of a waxing Moon and a night when you can't see the Moon at all. Both are known as 'the New Moon'. It might be better to speak of tonight (and Sunday night) as a 'No Moon'. In the old days, people called it 'The Dark of The Moon' and felt it had mystical significance. The absence of moonlight makes distant stars more visible. It also seems to reveal other 'hidden things'. Psychics and mediums report 'enhanced abilities' in the Dark of The Moon. And Astrologers know it as a good time to look to the future!
