Your Week Ahead: A chap called Dale Carnegie once wrote How To Win Friends And Influence People. This book did not win him many friends but it certainly influenced a series of imitators. Each declared on the cover of their own book that this was the 'Ultimate Guide To Becoming Successful'. These days bookshops have entire floors dedicated to 'self-improvement'. You can even buy books about how to avoid being influenced by people who are trying to influence you! Yet, this week, in order to shine, succeed, and accomplish great things, you merely need to do what comes naturally. Trust your own judgement and be a little suspicious of anyone who claims to know 'exactly what you need!" Your Week Ahead Part Two - Love Focus: Sometimes, it is better to be frantically busy doing something difficult than to be confidently coping with some easy task. There may or may not be an eventual, tangible reward for all the effort you are now putting in. There is, though, an immediate, spiritual benefit to be gained. You need to be stretched, challenged and taken out of a rut. You need to broaden your horizons. See this week's stress and pressure as healthy and beneficial - for ultimately, that's exactly what it is. There's nothing wrong with having a lot on your plate as long as you are comfortable that you have taken on a challenge for the right reason.
