March 1st to 9th 2001
~THURSDAY MARCH 1 Jonathan leaves the UK Daily Express At the end of the week, my predictions will cease to appear in the UK Daily Express. I will be taking a short holiday and then... well on Saturday, I shall be making an announcement about my future in the world of British newspapers. Here on the website, things will carry on exactly as normal - other than the fact that for one week only, your daily zodiac forecasts will be supplied by a very accomplished Horary astrologer called Patty Greenall - who I shall introduce to you in more detail soon.
FRIDAY MARCH 2 Jonathan takes a holiday Tomorrow, on this site, I will post a full explanation of my departure from the UK Daily Express and my plans for the future. Nothing though is changing here on this site (or rather, plenty is - but only slowly as I now find time to put more energy into it). Next week however, I will be taking a much-needed holiday. Your daily forecasts will be written by Patti Greenall, one of Britain's leading Horary astrologers whose interpretive skills have impressed me on many occasions in the past.
MONDAY MARCH 5 Patty Greenall - Welcome Patty Greenall - You only have to write a week's worth of daily horoscopes to realise the enormous amount of energy that Jonathan Cainer puts into his astrological predictions and interpretations. He's having a well-deserved break this week and I'm grateful of the opportunity to contribute my work to his most distinguished horoscope column.
TUESDAY MARCH 6 Patty Greenall - Moon movements Patty Greenall - The moon takes about 2 days to move through each sign of the zodiac. As the fastest moving body in our solar system, it is thought to carry the energy and influence from one planet to the next hence triggering action and change in one area of life or another depending on what house and sign it occupies.
WEDNESDAY MARCH 7 Patty Greenall - World improvements? Patty Greenall - Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are signs of the air triplicity, which are often associated with thinking and mentality. Mercury, planet of communications and intellect, is conjoining with Uranus, the planet ruling science and technology, this week in Aquarius, the sign ruling new ground and originality. On a worldly level, this is an indication that new scientific discoveries are in the making. On a personal level, it's a time for putting our minds together to think up new ways to make the world a better place.
THURSDAY MARCH 8 Patty Greenall - Venus stationary Patty Greenall - Every once in awhile the planets go retrograde from the earth's point of view. The planets move at different speeds to one another. It's a bit like going along in a car on the motorway when the car next to you is moving slightly slower. At some point when you overtake, the other car looks as if it's moving backward. Venus is at the stationary phase today and will begin moving the opposite direction by tomorrow.
FRIDAY MARCH 9 Patty Greenall - Full Moon Patty Greenall - The full moon takes place at 5:22pm today in Virgo. For some, this is an emotional time and for others, it's a time of fruition. It's a matter of balance. We all struggle with finding the middle path but forget that we have to consciously embrace two sides at once rather than blind ourselves to one or the other creating a see-saw effect. Virgo is ultimately practical and real while Pisces, the sign opposite where the sun is currently positioned, is imaginative and ethereal. Hold on to your dreams while applying yourself.
