April 28th to April 30th 2003
MONDAY APRIL 28 Beltane, the pagan festival - Eric Francis, guest astrologer Jonathan is away. Your forecasts today are by Eric Francis, from Vashon Island, near Seattle. Eric edits Planet Waves, a monthly horoscope magazine www.PlanetWaves.net and writes weekly on world affairs, relationships and celebrities. He is a specialist in the astrology of the minor planet Chiron. Eric Francis writes: Beltane, the pagan festival of fertility, abundance and pleasure, happens this week (sundown on Wednesday into May Day, though traditionally it was always around May 5). Beltane always happens during the Sun's transit of Taurus, which is ruled by Venus - goddess of love and abundance. The beauty of pagan holidays is how natural they are. Seasons arrive with their particular feelings, and that's what's celebrated. Beltane's message is simple, and it's easy to obscure it in the fog of modern morals. Spontaneous passion creates abundance. Erotic energy and creativity are the same thing. Love is excellent for the economy. TUESDAY APRIL 29 Money, love and dreams: Yasmin Boland, guest astrologer Jonathan is back tomorrow. Today's forecasts are by Yasmin Boland, author of new age novel Carole King Is An Alien. Her book Cosmic Love reveals how to use astrology, feng shui and crystals to draw love to you. Read Yasmin's daily Moon Meditations at www.yasminboland.com. Yasmin Boland writes: It's a great day for making money, making love and making moves towards your dreams. Venus, planet of love and money, is making a classic stunning link to Jupiter, planet of plenty. And it's happening under an Aries Moon, which is enough to fire up the meekest folk. So, make some money, make some love - or at least find a way to enjoy yourself. An especially great day for fire signs - Aries, Leo and Sagittarius. Also a good day for those who know that all they need is a little luck. WEDNESDAY APRIL 30 Jonathan returns! I would like to thank the excellent astrologers who stood in for me while I took my break. Now, no prizes for guessing what I did on my holidays! Actually, when I got to the edge of the water, I felt a little silly. I have, after all, never tried talking to a dolphin before... and nor, as far as I am aware, has a dolphin ever tried talking to me. Eventually though, I decided not to worry about what language to use... and I relaxed a bit. Almost as soon as I did... I got a cetacean visitor - who seemed very keen to communicate. Tomorrow, I shall tell you what (I think) I was told. |
