Beltane always happens during the Sun's transit of Taurus, which is ruled by Venus - goddess of love and abundance. The beauty of pagan holidays is how natural they are. Seasons arrive with their particular feelings, and that's what's celebrated. Beltane's message is simple, and it's easy to obscure it in the fog of modern morals. Spontaneous passion creates abundance. Erotic energy and creativity are the same thing. Love is excellent for the economy.
