March 5th to March 11th 2007
MONDAY March 5 Message from the moon Clouds often censor the stars - but not this weekend. Once I realised I could have a clear view of the eclipse from an urban location, I took a train to Central London and stood on a bridge over the Thames. At 11pm on a Saturday night, the celestial spectacle seemed too subtle for many revellers. A few looked up but most just ignored it. The Moon, though, did not ignore them! I had quite an intense revelation about that eclipse. I began to see exactly what it was 'up to' and how it was working. I'll say more tomorrow.

TUESDAY March 6 Emotional moon The Moon governs 'emotion'. As it waxes and wanes, our deepest feelings intensify or diminish much as tides rise and fall. During a lunar eclipse, though, it is as if we are briefly cut off from that profound, primeval pull. The earth's shadow becomes a veil, preventing the Moon from touching our hearts so strongly. That leaves us free to think about what we are allowing to excite or upset us. During the eclipse, and for up to two weeks afterwards, we all get a breathing space; a chance to control our emotions instead of letting them control us. |
WEDNESDAY March 7 Effects of the eclipse Dear Jonathan, My emotions are running high - so I disagree with your comment about the lunar eclipse giving us a respite from our feelings. Mine, ever since have become uncontrollable. Lots of anger and frustration. Regards Juanita
Dear Juanita, |
THURSDAY March 8 Tuning in to the eclipse Dear Jonathan, I live near the intersection of two busy roads. Usually on Saturday evenings there are emergency sirens going off. During the eclipse, though, I could hear no road noise at all. The world seemed perfectly still, like it is during a heavy snow fall. I was just wondering if I had gone deaf when my cat came up and miaowed. He sounded normal enough. So what happened? Jo
Dear Jo, |
FRIDAY March 9 Notes on a scandal Last Saturday. I stood staring at the eclipse for hours. I moved locations a couple of times. Towards the end, I went for a walk. Mainly, though, I just gawped and gazed in silence. Some might say I went into a daydream. The likes of Nostradamus would have called it a 'mystic trance'. Whatever it was, it provided me with a brief 'visionary moment'. I have had such experiences before. They usually provide reliable information. Anyway, for what it's worth, Here is what I saw: 'An enormous financial and political scandal coming to light over the next six months.' |
SATURDAY March 10 Jupiter and Saturn This week's most encouraging alignment is a harmonious aspect between Jupiter and Saturn. It suggests the building of bridges and the healing of wounds. If there is a peace process to be negotiated or some kind of compromise to be brokered, the time is now auspicious. Even people who might normally refuse to listen to one another will find that, somehow, they become receptive to different points of view. Agreement won't be automatic, but it will prove possible with a little patience and persistence. No matter what sign you are, you'll soon come across an opportunity to end an argument and open a new door. Make the most of this chance! |
