Monday March 4
Happy Birthday!
The lyrics to "Happy Birthday To You" were published 80 years ago. What did people sing before then? Whatever it was, it clearly couldn't hold a candle to Happy Birthday! Sometimes, something comes along and sweeps away all memory of how we used to do things. As Mercury and Uranus link, they encourage us to experiment with new ideas. But with Jupiter and Neptune also aligning, we can't forget what came before. Success today, requires us to consider the bigger picture.

St Piran's Day
It's St Piran's Day, when we celebrate the Cornish saint and the rich cultural history of South West England. According to the legend, St Piran was tied to a stone and thrown into stormy seas. As he touched the water, the ocean turned calm and he floated serenely to a Cornish beach. Nice! Following the Jupiter/Neptune link, our own seas may need becalming! Fortunately, divine intervention is available. It brings the confidence to 'swim' in the right direction in pursuit of a dream.

Invest in Success
We often struggle to ask for help. For some reason, we think that relying on support networks shows weakness. But if someone comes to us in need, do we think less of them? Or does the chance to invest in their success make us feel good? Having people who appreciate us adds to our sense of self-esteem. As the Sun and Pluto link on the day before the UK's biggest dog show, those showing their pooches at Crufts won't be the only ones discovering how important good friendships can be.

The Big Picture
As Mercury (clarity and intelligence) prepares to meet idealistic Neptune what can we expect? Ingenious imagination? Confusion about detail? How about a combination of both? That's fine - as long as we don't expect to know the exact balance of this mixture! But this celestial event's greatest benefit is a better understanding of the bigger picture. Context matters. And in becoming more aware of our environment, we'll find that our ideas can start making an exciting, noticeable difference.

Friday March 8
International Women's Day
Happy International Women's Day! In the UK, women have had the same voting rights as men for less than 100 years. That means some people alive now, were officially once classed as second-class citizens. The current celestial climate inspires us to talk about important/difficult issues. Although we still seem a long way from world equality, as Mars and Uranus align under the New Moon this weekend, our actions can be transformational. The pace of change can accelerate.

Saturday March 9
Your Weekly Horoscope
As Mercury (communication) enters fiery Aries, the cosmos encourages us to express our feelings with passion, even if we're not sure how they'll be received. It's time to be honest about heartfelt desires. The New Moon in Pisces promises that as long as we're sensitive when expressing our emotions, we can find ways to connect that deepen our most valued relationships. And with Venus (planet of love) changing signs, the more creatively we share our thoughts, the more pleasure we'll find.
