Fast and Slow
When I learnt to drive an automatic, I was taught not to press the accelerator and brake pedals simultaneously. Today, as fast Mars and slow Saturn harmonise, it's worth remembering this advice. With Venus joining them to create a Grand Trine, we can react to changing environments with the panache of Formula One's birthday boy, Max Verstappen. He knows when to push and when to conserve his car's energy. Today, by balancing separate but equal forces, we can forge ahead.

Solar Eclipse
The Sun and Mercury remain closely linked as we approach tomorrow's Solar Eclipse (which is linked with revolutionary Uranus). It's no exaggeration to say that we're standing on the threshold of significant change. Over the months ahead, we'll be able to trace our progress to the seeds we plant over the coming days. So, get ready for transformation time! Whether it's thinking about what needs to happen, making plans, or setting things in motion, positively looking towards the future is key.

Wednesday October 2
Non-Violence
Today's Solar Eclipse coincides with the UN's International Day of Non-Violence. It's perfect timing; eclipses represent change, renewal and hope. They encourage us to redress imbalances and find ways to deal with difficult situations. Of course, our biggest challenge often involves defeating our own demons. With this cosmic event taking place in peace-loving Libra, kindness is our most effective weapon. By showing more of it to ourselves (and others), we make room for love to grow.

Investing in Dreams
The power of the Solar Eclipse is fading, but its light leaves a legacy. So, although the display is over, the cosmic energy encourages us to pursue our passions. We often think of change as an event... but it's a process. In order to create something significant from the work we've started, we need to nurture and commit to the ideals we want to manifest. Investing resources in our dreams will ultimately bring rewards. Although with sparky Uranus involved, the rewards might not be what we expect!

Friday October 4
Rest and Recreation
Earlier this week we talked about the art of finding a balance between accelerating and braking. With Venus harmonising with Saturn today, which happens to be my 40th birthday, I'm recommending making time for some R&R! Which doesn't mean abandoning missions, or missing opportunities to get ahead; if we want to ensure we maintain our progress, it's responsible behaviour. This weekend, it's by working smarter (not harder), that we can tap into chances to make satisfying progress.

Your Weekly Horoscope
This week's Grand Trine between Venus, Mars and the Cosmic Teacher, Saturn, encourages us to be firm but fair. In perfect timing for World Teacher's Day, it helps us manage emotional volatility in the classroom of our lives! Our greatest lesson involves having the will to keep learning. And retrograde Jupiter brings the insight to see that getting things wrong is often the first step to working out how to get things right. By staying open-minded and curious, surprising solutions to old problems are possible.
