PREVIOUS THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY December 2 2024 to December 8 2024 Monday December 2 Cyber Monday It's Cyber Monday, when online retailers offer discounts tied in with Black Friday - which was first named 70 years ago when so many people hit the shops after Thanksgiving, there were problems with crowd control! These days, since we tend to push our budgets at this time of year, 'special offers' that haven't been sold need to go while we've still got cash to spend. Whether we Christmas-shop at the last minute, or stock up in advance, as Venus links with innovative Uranus, it's tradition-breaking time. Tuesday December 3 Burning Bridges Breaking from tradition offers opportunities to grow. But change doesn't always necessitate burning bridges. Today, as Venus (abundance) moves from a supportive trine with innovative Uranus to an encouraging link with imaginative Neptune, progress is best guided with a gentle hand. Sometimes, to create harmony we need to give people the freedom to find their own way. By trusting and giving others their space, rather than drifting apart, we can find ways to work towards common goals. My role involves being prepared to reassess and adapt to the clients' progress. But whether (or not) they hit their targets the reward comes from the connections we form.
