After much unemployment, I have been working freelance for some old clients. Last week, they told me they would like to put me on a longer contract! I then discover on your page, that Mercury is retrograde. If that's a bad time to do a deal, what should I do? I can't put them off until Mercury changes direction.

Other astrologers may advise against signing contracts at such times, but I would never suggest this. In my experience, it's auspicious! Retrograde Mercury, though, is associated with misunderstandings... like the one we have had here!
