The pursuit of power and success is very much a Martian activity. So it is appropriate � whilst we look ahead to a year in which Mars comes closer to the earth than at any point in the past 73,000 years � to finish our prediction series with a look at how you can get more of what you want out of life. Money itself is not ruled by Mars. But the pursuit of money � the struggle for it, and the desire to acquire it as a way of controlling other people � all has a great deal to do with the influence of this planet. That�s really why we must be careful, for this year we are due to see just how raw and terrible the results of naked greed can be. It is one thing to be highly motivated, another to become obsessed. It is one thing to be assertive, another to be aggressive. All over the world this year we will watch governments, corporations and individuals failing to draw those crucial dividing lines in the proper place. The current talk of a �war for oil� in the Middle East is just one of the many scary prospects that will soon start to loom before our eyes. We will be very lucky indeed if rivers of innocent blood are not spilled somewhere on the earth this year for reasons that have more to do with greed and hatred than with any true need to stamp out a �danger�. Yet neither the terrorists nor the warmongers will �win� the year�s �biggest battle�. This will be a fight fought by ordinary people the whole world over for a return to compassion and commonsense. Ultimately, regardless of culture creed or country, there are many more of us who value peace than the powers that be have yet recognised. Our prayers, our actions and our intentions will yet make an enormous difference to the story of 2003. CAREER & WEALTH FOR...? Jennifer Lopez July 24, 1970 Jennifer Lopez, like many who share her sign of Leo, has a good head for financial heights. But it is not just her head that has helped her to climb so far up the ladder of success. This is due to be be a good year for Leo and an even better year for J-Lo! Robbie Williams February 13, 1974 Robbie is already one of the richest young men in pop, and in 2003 he looks due to become even wealthier.
