We have spoken already this week, about your need to be circumspect about the use of a particular word in 2005. I make no apology for harking back to the same point. Indeed, I rather feel that I'd be doing you an enormous favour if I were to simply make this point and no other every day of the week, every week of the year, in every forecast for your sign. For we're fighting a difficult battle here. On the one hand, there's you and me. And on the other, there's the world! The world clearly thinks that 'should' is a wonderful word. It uses it often. It bandies it about freely. But we both know how much damage can be done by a sense of 'ought to be' or worse, perhaps 'ought not to be'. One of the things that makes the word 'should' so difficult is the word 'could'.

We are all aware, in the 21st century, of a seemingly endless number of options. We all know that we could be here, or there, or could be doing this or could be experiencing that. But if you're to fulfil the right ambition for the right reason this year, you've got to weigh 'could' very carefully, and ignore 'should' almost completely - and overcome the sense of guilt that seems to fill you with horror the moment you contemplate the suggestion. That will do you no harm. There are certain emotional issues that you have been carrying around with you for a long time. It is as if you have been a hiker walking round with a backpack which you believe to be full of essential items. You never really open it though. You never have time. Then one day, you finally open it up and look inside and see - boulders! Bricks and bits of rubble.

In a series of little revelatory moments throughout 2005, you will gradually discover that you no longer have to keep feeling as though you're doing something wrong. Nor will you have to keep wondering whether or not you're doing the right thing. You'll free yourself of a psychological burden and, as you do, you'll become able to take advantage of a series of amazing worldly opportunities that have been hanging around on the edges of your life, just waiting for you to notice and take advantage of them.

PART THREE
The coming year should be one of the most lucrative and rewarding times you have ever enjoyed or experienced. To make that a reality, you don't have to sit around waiting for an auspicious alignment, you simply have to make a resolution. 'No more negative thought.' I don't want to sound like a throwback to the good old 1990s when all the 'New Age' types spouted on endlessly about 'Prosperity Consciousness'. We all know the principle. If you think of yourself as a person with the ability to generate wealth, that is what you will become. Conversely, if you see yourself as destined forever to be struggling to make ends meet, then that will be your reality.

We also know, though, that you can think yourself rich as much as you like but you won't ever pay the rent by writing the words 'I believe' on a cheque. But when you are putting in the effort and energy AND the positive thought, magic really can happen. And it will happen for you this year. This year's biggest opportunities won't necessarily have the words 'opportunity' written on them. Nor will they necessarily come wrapped up in glittery bows and be presented to you on silver platters by smiling pop stars and assorted celebrities. Indeed, you may look at the developments that represent your biggest financial opernings this year and at first feel inclined to say, 'Oh no! Not that!'. The issues they raise or the propositions they involve may point towards activities you don't especially enjoy - or processes that annoy you or people you can't stand or situations that get your back up.

But that's the extent of the bad news. The good news is that you've got the ability to rise to any challenge that arises. Summon the willingness and soon, whatever looks so dauntingly difficult will become surprisingly easy. You will become significantly better off, as a direct result of embracing an opportunity you don't much fancy and turning it into something you can really work with, run with and be proud of.

PART TWO
Sometimes, when I am looking at your horoscope, particularly at your love and relationship issues, I can see the big story clearly enough but what I can't always see is who will be playing which role in the drama. That's because we often end up being drawn to people who 'mirror' our emotions or who manifest qualities that we find it hard to summon for ourselves. Strong Person X, for example, may secretly, yearn to feel a little lost and helpless. Rather than get into a vulnerable position though, X may fall in love with Weaker Person Y who often makes mistakes by failing to think things through. Y then 'acts out', for X, their need to go through such an experience.

That's not necessarily good for either of them... for both are becoming further entrenched in roles they need to be coaxed out of. Relationship therapists know all about this. One of the first things they have to do when helping a couple is help them work out whose 'emotional stuff' really belongs to who!

Sedna, the newly discovered planet of emotional intelligence, is now passing through the part of your chart that governs 'home and family'. The strong suggestion here is that in 2005, your love life will improve dramatically as fast as you start thinking harder about why certain dramas keep playing themselves out in your life.

Thinking harder does not mean going over the same old ground a million times. Nor does it mean wasting endless hours bemoaning events that have now taken place and can't be changed. There isn't time to look at all the things that could have been different 'if only' this had happened instead of that. But there is, always, time to take a difficult past and, through understanding it better in the present, turn it into a much easier future. You'll find there's always plenty to worry about this year but as long as you refuse to succumb to that, not only will your currently complex love life get simplified, it will also get a lot more enjoyable.

As an Aquarian, you are supposed to be very analytical, and not particularly emotional. If only that were true. Actually, it is the opposite. You are very open, very aware of your obligations and very sensitive to the pressures that others are subconsciously placing on you. In the coming year, as this process unfolds, a lot of what currently seems to be a source of pain or frustration may yet become a source of pleasure.
