PART FOUR
Emotionally, mentally and, in some ways, physically too, 2004 took a lot out of you. So much so that you are tempted to declare that 2005 will be a success just as long as it isn't too uncomfortable or stressful. Your motivation, though, will return in a big way, once Saturn leaves your sign. Just as fast as new hope comes pouring in to your heart, rewards will start pouring into your life. That's as it should be, for, over the last few months and years, you have earned them. Payback, though, has been a little slow. I must stress though, that Saturn is not going anywhere for seven more months and that, before it goes, it has business with you. There's an awkward issue that needs to be cleared up, once and forever. As long as this particular matter remains unresolved, you're never going to get where you need to be. You know this but you still don't much like the idea of dealing with it. You have tried, several times in the past. It seems to you, though, that it is like trying to clean a kitchen. You can make everything look lovely very quickly if you simply wipe and tidy the surfaces. But if you start pulling out the units and looking down the back of them, you can unearth a hundred hidden horrors and wind up wishing you had never started. Even so, you have something that you sorely need to set yourself free from. You can't just make some superficial gesture that 'appears' to involve letting go. Nor can you 'let go' of the symptom while hanging on to the cause.

The thing you need to give up on this year is not a lifestyle habit, it's an unhealthy emotional reliance on an unattainable (and ultimately undesirable) objective. Once you've really psychologically shifted yourself in relation to this, you'll have the fluidity you need to take advantage of this year's very real chances to get what you most require. PART THREE
The most significant development this year, has to be the departure of Saturn from your sign in mid-July. By then it will have been in Cancer for about two and a half years. It's the reason why currently, so much seems so difficult. You feel as if there's a heavy price to be paid for every price that you pay. You are conscious of your responsibilities and insecure, too, about your worth in the eyes of others. You feel as if you must work hard to maintain all the safety devices and structures that you have put in place, and you have become used to feeling edgy and apprehensive around the topic of money. Soon though, you'll need to get used to feeling much more relaxed.

The new planet Sedna has a clear message about where and how money can be made. Because it is currently positioned in the eleventh solar house of your chart... and because Sedna's primary influence is to encourage the growth of emotional intelligence, the astrological inference is obvious. If, in 2005, you want to increase your level of material stability, just help your friends. Don't worry too much about which particular friends or under which particular circumstances. If they are even remotely your friends, help them! Help them if they ask, help them if they don't ask. Help them if their cause seems all but lost, and help them if it looks as if they are on a winnning streak. Offer support, understanding and practical assistance. And somehow, in some less than obviously direct way, when you do this, the world will help you.

Obviously, you will also need to do all the conventional things that we all must do to keep wolves from doors, to get ends met, expenses curtailed and bills paid. But there's really no need for some complex strategy. Nor must you consciously divide your attention between the friends most likely to bring you a reward and the ones most likely to draw on your resources. No matter how concerned you may be about your own situation or how anxious you may be about the various dramas which arise throughout the year, on a financial level, at least, if you keep remembering that one simple notion and acting it out, everything, eventually, will take care of itself.

Lately, you've been wrestling with a strange sense of inadequacy. You have begun to doubt your entitlement to a true experience of emotional happiness. You've started to dwell on all the disappointments you have experienced in the past and to select from these, all the worst sleights and sorrows. From these you have woven a web of negative expectation and then, you have caught yourself right in the middle of it.

It's all part of a psychological syndrome which, this year, Saturn's long awaited departure from your sign should help to free you from. You feel frustrated because you want so badly to experience happiness, comfort, security and sharing. So sometimes, when there doesn't seem to be enough of it, you overcompensate by deciding that you don't even care.
